As you will no doubt be aware BT have returned to the mobile phone market after acquiring EE in a £12.5 billion deal, This will see BT re-launch BT Mobile and details of the first plans have finally been announced.
Currently BT Mobile are only going to be offering SIM only plans which will include 4G and the UK’s biggest mobile network and unlimited access to BT’s WiFi network with over 5 million hotspots.
If you are a BT Broadband Home customer you will be eligible for the best value 4G tariffs saving up-to 50% on you bill compared to non-BT Broadband customers. Every account holder can have upto 5 discounted SIMs on their account with a maximum of 10 per household.
The new tariffs are on a 12-month contract however you can use your current phone if you want. BT are also offering new 4G phones from the BT Shop from £99.
The new BT packages will also allow you to control spending to make the most of you plan by including a spending cap that you can set. You are able to also monitor what you do spend through the BT Mobile App which will be provided.
The tariffs are flexible and if you find you are not hitting the usage you expected you can easily swap to another tariff without extending the length of the contract. This also applies even if you are moving to a cheaper plan.
As expected all BT Mobile customers will also get BT Sport via the BT Sport App – even if they don’t have BT Broadband.
